Age: The normal range for creatinine clearance is age-dependent. Diet: A diet high in meat can increase creatinine levels. Dehydration: Dehydration can increase creatinine levels. Exercise: Intense exercise can increase creatinine levels. High serum creatinine levels can indicate kidney disease or injury, but they can also be caused by other conditions.
